Can I keep this a secret?

I never told my husband that I joined this club.  He thinks I’m quite looney because of all the time that I spend on Ravelry…now this!!  When the packages start arriving, can I just tell him that it’s a promotional gimmick?? I’m so very excited to get this started.  50% of the socks that I’ve knit have been with STR and I just love it.  I can’t wait to see the new stuff this year!!  I look forward to getting to “know” you all and sharing the “love”!!!

Ha…I haven’t told my husband either. I’ll just play down the “club” aspect of it and say I’m just buying sock yarn. He’s used to that. :)

I just tell my husband that it is really hard to get the sock yarn at shows, it is not sold in stores where we live, and all about how you get the first access to new colors and patterns and fun things. He totally supports me in getting it, even though I have friends who think it is too expensive. He wants me to spoil myself a little. So if you can approach it from that angle, it might work.

While I haven’t officially told dear hubby, I think he’ll understand. One of my objectives during our 6-week road trip from Alaska was to acquire some STR yarn - you can’t find it here in AK. I think I drove him crazy with all of the lys stops we made in the Pac NorthWest! Plus - I’m not sure he’ll even notice…

Newbie here - I didn’t tell my partner since it didn’t come out of our “joint” account. But I did buy some Raven Clan yarn and put in his stocking for Xmas. If I keep him happy in socks surely he’ll not mind that yarn shows up in the mailbox…make sense?
Hmm maybe I better start on his new socks this week so next week’s package won’t raise eyebrows!
