What will happen if I use a W?

img_1108.jpgMembers of the 2007 blog will remember that we had some problems with the blog. The oddest one involved posts whose titles started with a W. We don’t really know why, but those posts didn’t end up being displayed properly in the blog.

Hence this post. I’m testing to see whether it will actually show up, and if I’ll be able to leave a comment on it successfully. Cross your fingers!

While I’m at it, I’m going to test the file uploading functionality, so here is a picture of some of my other favorite things (besides knitting): bed, cat, books.

My cat is named Aimee.

It’s really nice that the gangs all back. I’m so sick of rain and my knitting fingers are all caloused from knitting, knitting and more knitting. I’m not a T.V. person and we only get 2 newpapers a weak where I live (very small town). So I’m waiting for some beautiful fiber to brighten up my spirits. No camp for me this year…health issues are priority one at this time in my life. But I know all of you will have fun at camp…I’ll be there in spirit so laugh alot for me. A shout out to Alice in the heartland…glad to see you’re a Blog Mom and I read the Stephanie Pearl-McPhee book you gifted me and ordered all the rest of her books and read her blog religiously. She keeps me in “stitches” which is supposed to be good for the immune system.

Hey Liz, I’m sorry you can’t make camp this year and laughter is a lot of what gets DH and I through his health issues. His new immune system has occasional glitches but seems to be working on keeping cancer at bay. Yarn Harlot’s adventures with the cat and the bathroom really had me going yesterday. I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts. Hugs, and Happy (healthy) Knitting, Alice
P.S. 2 newspapers? Well lets see for us there is the once a week local then the closest “big” city daily then the state capital daily then you’d have to go to USA Today or WSJ but for local we only really have one a week and a lot of it’s news is about the other small towns around us. Welcome to my world of rural Iowa.
