The Sock club packages have left the building!

As of today Thursday January 24th at around 2:00pt all of the sock club will be shipped. Well, to be accurate they will be at the Scappoose P.O.
Yesterday was a record, “bustin’ sock club out” day here at Blue Moon. I think it might have been the Moose Munch. Yeah team!!
OK, new Rockin Sock Club tradition. The first person to post that their package has arrived is “THE POST “. Everyone else then follows in the Comments section of that post. That way we are all right there in one place sharing our yarn love. Adds a wee bit of excitement and it will be a different person every shipment. We could call it the “IT IS HERE!!” post.
This is the nerve wracking part for me (especially the first shipment) from the time it leaves here until it arrives at your door and is in your knitterly hands.

Oh, the anticipation is killing me!!
Hmmm…Moose Munch? How can I get me some ‘cuz I sure could use an energy boost here (another grey day…seems I only have energy on those sunny days during winter). On a brighter note, definitely getting an energy vibe from the anticipation of sock kit arriving…any day now…!
THANK YOU Team BMFA! A simply paper mailing for 2K is an undertaking. Hopefully everyone can enjoy the “It’s gone!” feeling. It’s fun to watch yarny packages landing all over the world. I’ve picked Tuesday as my anticipated delivery day.

I absolutely cannot wait! My son likes to hide my yarn deliveries and make me hunt for them around the house…I always know a package has arrived when he greets me at the door giggling.
Woot! I’m hoping Sat or Monday for my delivery then, rock on!
Yeah!!! Something to look forward to. I wonder how long it will take for the kit to make the trip from Scappoose down to Hillsboro.
Melissa has a treasure hunt for her yarn (very cute of her son)…I feel like I am in a game to figure out all of the terminology used by veteran members! It will come with time…part of the fun! Is there a rule or way not to spoil the surprize for people who have not yet received package? Is that one purpose of having reaction all on one POST? Simply don’t read it until you receive your own? I am in one other Sock Club. It is brand new. This is so outrageously fun and well developed/organized in comparison. I really appreciate the difference…you have mastered the Sock Club concept!
share it with the class…what’s Moose Munch? i have a dilemna…my best postman retired. nope, no more hugging Richie. i am not sure that the temps will know the importance of my delivery. hmmm, what to do?
Tina and BMFA elves…maybe the Moose Munch folks will pony-up some sample bags for you to send out in your next shipment!!!!???? Having recently moved from Salem to CA, I know full well what Moose Munch is…I believe the best flavor had dark chocolate and peppermint???
Well as happy as I am that the surprise is on its way, I am leaving town for 10 days and won’t get to see it until I return in early Feb…oh well, I guess I will have to pretend that I live in Utah or maybe England…and the package is stuck in the system!!! :-))
I love moose munch - tell harry and david to get a store in Central NY!!! I miss washington… (moved less than 6 months ago!) SO i have to get my moose munch fix via mail order…

Lol, Ok I’m confused, what about Utah? Did something happen to a shipment that was supposed to come here last year? I live in Utah that’s why I ask. Can’t wait for my first ever club shipment!
Utah? It takes days and days to get to Utah. Or it could just be that it seems like it. If they go out on Wednesday for western US I usually get mine on Saturday, but once it came on Friday. I suppose that unless the mailings were re-arranged this time I will get mine on Monday. Do I know you? Where in Utah are you?
I’m in Provo, I just asked about it because of something in Springermama’s comment about pretending to live in Utah… Are you in Utah as well?
I broke my foot over the Christmas Holiday so I have to do the HAPPY DANCE on one foot and crutches… but I am still doing it…. yeah baby!

Whoo! I’m really excited, as this is my first year in the club. I’m trying to wait patiently for the bundle of sockish joy to make it over the border to my little home on the east coast of Canada.
I know this is always the ‘nerves’ time for you, Tina, but haven’t you figured it out yet? We always LOVE what you give us! Well…not all of us love everything all the time, but you pretty much get the majority of love far more than the ‘love nots’!

I’ll be looking for my package around Thursday, since it takes about 5 business days for packages to arrive in Missouri from the west coast. This is my first shipment in the club, so I’m wiggling all over, looking forward to seeing what colorful delights Tina and the gang have sent our way.
Waited as long as I could, put on the least amount of clothes that would not cause embarassment and keep me warm and went to the mailbox - THERE! That’s some nice looking yarn…can’t wait to start in…

so i just got home from a nearly-fruitless and entirely depressing trip to a poorly-lit fabric chain store to find a priority mail box on my doorstep. “huh??” i asked myself. “what could i possibly be expecting in the mail? i don’t remember any outstanding orders…”
believe it. i wasn’t just being cool, hanging loose, figuring my rsc mailing would show ‘whenever’. I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT. when i saw the return address, i nearly hyperventilated. i am such a freak.
a toooootally excited freak in the chicago area who is beside herself with joy over what was in that box!
Get Moose Munch from Harry & David. Both the milk and dark chocolate are fab! I’ve been known to live on it and nothing else for days at a time!
I just arrived home from a normally 4-5 hour drive that took us 10 hrs due to poor road conditions. We arrive home to a fresh 13″ of new fallen snow, with more coming down all the time! But to my surprise a pkg awaited me. My first, beautiful yarn from the club that was so hard to get into!!! I love it, and just in time for Valentines Day!! Thanks Tina! I love getting surprises in the mail, especially yarn.
Still no sign of my first sock club shipment. I’m a first-timer and I’m getting very discouraged.
I think it was me that posted to the wrong place. Sorry! I am new to this blogging thing. But, at any rate, I am thrilled with my first club arrival! The yarn is beautiful and I can’t wait to get started!
