It is Not Here Yet.

January Kit Questions, Notorious Sock Knitters | January 25, 2008
By Tan

It is not here yet
I can’t dance and I can’t sing
It is not here yet
I won’t do the Highland Fling

It is not here yet
Might as well go to bed
Might as well watch TV
Cause it’s not yet here.

Sincere apologies to the Spamalot folks.

cute poem :), mine didn’t make it here today either. I’m very sad. Was it you that said that you were from Utah? I’m in Provo myself. Our mail never makes it here before 3pm. Here’s hoping it’ll be in the mail tomorrow…

Hey Tan,

Ditto for me, we could sing a duet, if I could sing, but I can dance and play the spoons. And hummmmm…..I’m agood hummer. If you can talk Tina into declaring Utah a foreign country, then I’ll plead my case for Indianola being a sovereign nation, it is afterall, Port Madison Indian Reservation. Waiting….RaeDean

Mine isn’t here either…blame it on my dh. He gave them an expired credit card when he placed the order, wonder if that will slow my package down?

Ahh, but Utah and Oklahoma shouldn’t feel so badly. I’m in Ohio where it has also not yet arrived. Just as well methinks, as I have a LOVELY pair of socks currently “on the needles” so to speak, and it’s tough here to find decent new sets of needles. (Besides which I’m one of those REALLY anal people who has to complete one project before starting another).

Anyway, for my friends from Utah, do you suppose it’s a problem with states with only four letters. (How about Iowa?) Or perhaps it’s states starting with vowels (Utah, Oklahoma, Ohio…Now I really wonder about Iowa.)

And so the fun and anticipation get prolonged…

We are shipment short in MN. Anyone have any ideas on how MN becomes 4-letters? LAKE(s)? More likely COLD.

As much as I want my personal shipment to fondel and love, it’s fun to watch yarny packages drop like happy little tornados.

Can someone else who has a size 9 foot advise what size they might knit in this pattern? I’m trying to decide and thought I’d ask for advise. Thanks

“Anticipation, Antici-pay-yay-yay, it’s making me way-yay-yay-yayt.” I wonder if Carly Simon knits. Ah well. I have to finish a really cool sock anyhoo. I will be Tao about it. (Yeah, Right)

As of January 30, I still don’t have mine here in Idaho. *sigh* and I’m right next door to Oregon!

Sarah-what part of Idaho are you in? I got mine last Saturday and I live in Boise. Maybe all this snow is slowing it down.
