I don’t know if Camp is full yet but at least some/most of your questions are answered in the comments of the other Camp Crow’s Feet posts. Click on the category and then click on the comments of each post. Happy Knitting, Alice
When you get your package, there will be a brochure that explains the camp. It sounds fun, but I can’t do it this year. Maybe there can be mini-”camps” (get-togethers) for NSKs in the same area during sock camp time. I’m in Louisville, KY if anyone wants to meet up!
Hey Ann….I think the camp brochure was left out of some packages. I emailed blue moon fiber and they emailed me a pdf copy of the camp brochure. Just send them an email.

I’ll try again. It’s a sock knitting experience sponsored by BMFA. They have Cat Bordhi and Stephanie Pearl-McPhee coming to teach different aspects of sock knitting. Last year Cat was getting ready to release her new sock book so demonstrated some of the new ideas in the book and Stephanie worked through the basic sock and how various parts of your body relate to your foot. We also had a “class” on community knitting and a color class with Tina. These classes took up two of the three days the third day was a whale watching excursion and the underwater Olympics. You might go to the 2007 archive and check out posts on Camp Cockamamie which was the name for last years camp. Those posts should give you some idea about what “camp” is Blue Moon style.
Breakfast and lunch were provided along with one dinner. Transportation, lodging and the other dinners were left to us. In the evening after dinner Tina and the Sockateers had all kinds of different activites worked out for us to participate in. You get to meet lots of other really neat people and have a great time with other sock enthusiasts. Hope this helps answer the “What is Camp… question. Happy Knitting, Alice
Chaya: It is a breath of fresh air, a moment of exhilaration, a bonding experience, a learning experience, and a good place to relax with bloody mary in hand - er - knit to your heart’s content.

I guess my package was inadvertantly left out as well. Anyone have dates when this is happening? I assume in the Northwest? I am down frequently, and would schedule work around it. It is sold out already?

Nevermind, I saw the link to the Camp. Man, wish I could go, that sounds like fun. Too close to Summer tourist season for me to have a couple days to enjoy knitting.

I am still in the dark about Camp Crows Feet. I have received my package w/ notebook. I read everything cover to cover- no mention of camp.
