Fun with Blog Buttons!

Announcements | January 29, 2008
By Tina

By popular demand, we’ve created two buttons you can use on your blogs, Web sites, and so on to identify yourself as a member of the 2008 Rockin’ Sock Club. Please feel free to link these to this blog or to the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Web site.

Here are the buttons. If you know how to save these onto your computer and put them on your own Web site, go for it.

I’m in the RSC Club! I’m in the RSC Club!

If you need the HTML code, here it is.

First graphic: <a href="http://www.rockinsockclub.com/" title="I'm in the Rockin' Sock Club!"><img src="http://rockinsockclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/rsc_member1.gif" alt="I’m in the Rockin' Sock Club!" border="0" /></a>

Second graphic: <a href="http://www.rockinsockclub.com/" title="I'm in the Rockin' Sock Club!"><img src="http://rockinsockclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/rsc_member2.gif" alt="I'm in the Rockin' Sock Club!" border="0" /></a>

And, because so many of you are having fun on Ravelry, we’ve made an “official” RSC spoiler graphic you can use when you upload the yarn to your stash, or put the project in your queue.

Knowing only a little about html I have a question.

I am under the assumption that these blog buttons are just for posting on your website to advertise RSC…not to be able to click on them and take the person to the website, correct?

Thanks!

The HTML as written above gives you an image that is linked to “www.rockinsockclub.com”.

hmmm…then I wonder if I’m doing something wrong because it only produces the picture on my blog and does not take the “click-ee” to the website at all…

any suggestions?

thanks!

hi folks, wordpress seems to have “helped” us with the HTML code in this post and inserted curly quotes. we’ve fixed the code now, so go crazy.

I am able to get the buttons on my blog, but not on the sidebar. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks in advance
