I AM GOING TO CAMP!!!!!

So. I was talking to my husband, and the oft mentioned topic of my desire to go to camp came up. For various reasons, we had made a joint decision (I’m coming from Boston, so it’s not just the cost of the camp - there is travel, time away from work, blah blah blah) for me to not go. He finally just broke down and said, “Babe, if you want to go that badly, just sign up. We’ll figure it out’.

WOOT!!!! I’m so freaking excited I can’t even portray it here on the blog. I had such an awesome time last year… I’m already counting down the days.

P.S. if you can get there early on Saturday you can join us in a major yarn crawl through Seattle on a NSK shorty school bus courtesy of Nederlass and her DH. We’d also love to have you join us for further crawling north to Friday Harbor on Sunday night with alpaca farms on Monday before going over to Orcas in the afternoon. You have to have been reading all about it on Ravelry. Frieda come too if you can. Happy Knitting, Alice

I waiverd for a couple of weeks, this close >< to signing up, but alas, with lodging and airfare added, and the fact that I must attend at least two conferences this year for some of my un-yarn related qualifications, and possibly go afar to family-related events, t’was not to be.

I look forward to living vicariously through camp blogs and photos!
