Notorious Sock Knitters | February 20, 2008
I came up with a pattern to use up the leftover yarn, my wife was just to happy with the color to leave a bunch lying around. Thought I’d share it with everyone else, I would have posted earlier, but I wanted to write up the pattern so it was ready when I posted. You can find the pattern on my blog, www.cabledguy.com , or you can look it up in ravelry, I just posted it there to. Have fun.

I heart that flower! It was soo fun to meet you and your wife at Madrona and see the socks and flower in person! Thanks for sharing the pattern.
Happy knitting!!
Very smart looking, I like it a lot!
LOVE IT!
It’s fabulous! I think I may make myself a bouquet of roses with leftover yarm from this year’s club! What an inspired idea! Your wife is quite lucky!!!!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
oh my goodness, so cute! gotta try it
Thank you for the free pattern, I am definitely going to knit it up. So cute!
great job, thanks for sharing, does your wife knit?
My wife does some knitting, but no where near as much as I do. She mainly spins, which is great, since our hobbies feed off of each other. Of course stash management is a bit of problem, my yarn stash is quite impressive, however my wife’s fiber stash is on it’s way to matching its size. Neither of us can really complain though, she gets socks out of my stash, and I get yarn out of hers, so it all works out.
This is great. I think I will bang one out this weekend. Its a fantastic little accessory, especially with spring fleurs around the corner…
Oh, wow. I have a whole 11 grams left over–that’s got to be a couple of pretty roses! Thank you!
And here’s mine!
I had a great time knitting it. Assembly was tricky, but fun as a challenge. I’m looking to put some leaves on it and call it a day.
Ack. I guess you can’t post even little pictures in a comment. So, here’s a link: http://mytinkertots.blogspot.com/2008/02/little-red-rose.html
