General Knitting Questions | February 09, 2008
Not a panic question here at all, but one I really would love to find out more about. What is the prevailing wisdom on blocking socks? Using those cute wooden paddles? Does blocking last beyond a first wash? I’ve not really found any information on this yet even in my sock pattern books. Thought this would be the place to find out! Back to knitting for now. Yours, Jabberwocky in NJ.
January Kit Questions | February 08, 2008
I finished the heel and it looks very very triangular to me. I’ve never knitted a pair that looks so triangular so I am wondering if I did something wrong. Is this the shape everyone else is getting? (I am at the point where you are about to start the foot. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

THE POST OFFICE HAS FINALLY PERFORMED AND I HAVE MY YARN IN YUMA, AZ. I WAS REALLY CURIOUS WHAT THE RED WOULD BE, KNOWING TINA’S REACTION TO THE WORD “RED”. LOVE THE COLOR - RED BUT NOT RED - AFTER THREE YEARS OF SOCK CLUB YOU STILL SURPRISE ME - MANY THANKS - THANK YOU GAIL FOR CHANGING HER PERCEPTION OF RED

Notorious Sock Knitters | February 07, 2008
I was just wondering……I was looking around on the web site, and I notice that none of the heavier weight yarns that they sell are superwash. (Or none that I saw anyhow, am I missing something?) So….I got to thinking about why. Is this because there is no market for it? Or does making it superwash somehow compromise the quality of the yarn? I was just thinking ahead to some projects I’d like to make, but I would really prefer to use superwash yarn. I didn’t see anywhere on the web site to provide feedback directly back to them. Any thoughts?
