I’m with everyone else. I can’t wait (but I’ll have to!) until the end of this month. Right now I am finishing up socks that have been sitting in my sock work bag since before the first of the year. I only have two pairs on needles right now (as opposed to my usual 10 or so.) In future even and empty months I am planning on working on some of the socks from previous years since this is my first year with RSC. As you may have inferred I am addicted to socks. I only started knitting socks about 16 months ago and I have finished about 25 pairs and have many more in the yarn purchased and planning stages. I love the RSC because I love surprises and it gives me a chance to work with colors and patterns I might not have chosen myself. As soon as I figure out this new digital camera I got this week, I will post my “Flame Dance” socks from January.

I am nearly done with the second sock from January. I am so excited because I have NEVER had a pattern fit my small foot and this has turned out perfect. I am so anxious to get the March package now. I think it will have a green theme too.

I haven’t noticed any with holiday themes, but she sometimes goes seasonal such as with Flower Power in the summer, and also the previous year’s midsummer choice, Titania, which was part of a whole series based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And Monsoon was inspired by the Oregon winter weather, when it rains so much that everything has moss growing on it. So if you are trying to secondguess Tina, I wish you luck. You never know where that brain’s been!
