Hmmm–questions about the new yarns: Silk thread and Silk Thread 2 look the same if you go in through the colorways; but if you click on the fiber type Thread 2 has got a little less yardage. The picture of WooBu looks as if it’s wrapped, but in the fiber type picture it looks very smooth. The merino silk is gorgeous! Wish I had looked at the fiber page before I clicked through my order.
So, y’all go have a look if you haven’t already.

I Want WooBu! Any chance photos are forthcoming? Not all of the colorways, but just a few so I can get an “idea” of how it takes the color.
Yep–I couldn’t tell the difference between Silk Thread 1 and 2 by looking at the picture. After looking at LOTS of pictures of colorways (because I was sure that I could tell), I found this under Silk Thread 2 in the FIBER category:
Description: An ever so slightly heavier version of our silk thread. Still thread-like, just a step up from cobweb.
It was really, really hard to look at all the lovely colorways that are available. Sometimes ‘not thinking’ works out for the best. I guess that I’ll just have to try them both.
