I do love the color, my son’s favorite… he’s going to want the socks.
And with all the Lucky Charms talk, I was at the Supermarket and had to buy a box. I had some for breakfast, checked my mail and there was my package! I am Lucky!

Lucky me in New Jersey - thank you, it’s beautiful. Mine reads “Horseshoe Hotrod,” maybe a sign that this pair should be for my sister who just broke her hand when kicked by a horse. She could use some luck :) Tina, from your hint I thought there was a lucky charm inside and just had the fun of a few minutes of squishing the skein. Any excuse to enjoy STR!

Cool! Love the yarn and the pattern. I’m just finishing up another pair of socks in green, which I call my “Will Spring Never Come?” socks, because I was so desperate for green after this miserable winter.

I think, based on the fact that international packages went out last Monday, that Tina and the Sockateers were trying for our spring surprises arriving closer to the same time as each other, so we could all share the excitement! Tina did say that US packages were STARTING to go out Thursday morning. (? Suggesting maybe not all did?)

I won’t know for hours if mine came today or not; mail delivery late in the day always. But I’m excited that people far away from Oregon, including in the Snow Belt like me, have gotten theirs. So there’s hope! If not today, then soon!

He gently commented that this ws the first month that I hadn’t been asking after it. As has become typical, Tina et al, you have brought pleasure and joy (Mother Nature brought more snow). Thanks!

I got mine here in Poughkeepsie, NY. I finished my Serendipity just in time, I’m wearing them now! We had Rockin’ Sock day at the school that I work the other day (totally unrelated to BMFA), and I wore my completed Serendipity socks. Private joke to myself that I actually had Rockin’ Socks on!

The color of the new kit is beautiful, I had promised my daughter that she could have one of the completed pairs from the club, and she instantly claimed these, the colorway is her favorite. Happy knitting everyone!

Woot! I got mine today as well, and it was such a surprise! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a BMFA package in anything other than a box so I TOTALLY wasn’t expecting anything when I didn’t see a box propped up on my mailbox. My mail person doesn’t exactly believe in actually bringing stuff to my door. I LOVE the color! At first glance, I wan’t sure about the pattern but after I opened it up, I can’t wait to dig into both.

Tina, you have outdone yourself. That has got to be the most beautiful colorway you’ve done yet. And yes, it looks just like our green hills out here!

Lucky arrived here in Michigan today and boy did I need it. The color is wonderful, especially after receiving 14″ of snow on Good Friday. I’m not sure spring isn’t just bypassing Michigan altogether this year. We are all so tired of it. This color is like a piece of spring brought to us when Mother Nature won’t. It also reminds me of my trip to Ireland in September last year. Thanks Tina

As the others from Michigan have reported we totally got dumped on Friday with a bunch of snow. I was on a short yarn crawl from my Grandville home to Lansing and on the way home they closed the freeway with us on it. Luckily we were the last car and the state trooper pulled up behind us and closed the freeway. My name is Kelly, totally irish, green yarn, shamrock karma, great pattern what more could a girl want?

Tina, you are a genius! The color is amazing and the timing couldn’t be better; we had a white Easter. The springy greens really made my day. I have the yarn sitting out as a reminder of what Spring will look like when it finally arrives.

Mine arrived yesterday in NoVA. And it’s so perfect, I can’t believe it! LOVE the color, LOVE the pattern… and I feel really selfish, because I had planned to make the next kit for my grandmother, but this yarn being my absolute favorite color and my favorite type of pattern (anything that knits up to look like leaves really revs my engine), granny will have to wait for the next one.

OMG! Now I am *totally* obsessing!! I really really hope it arrives today. I can’t stand it. Our mail doesn’t usually arrive until 2pm - sometimes as late as 3:30. meh…

The anticipation is killing me. :)

p.s. I am in Seattle.

I haven’t looked at spoiler pictures, unfortunately some people have mentioned the specific color in their posts, so I sort of have an idea of what to expect.

My package arrived today! Love the pattern and the yarn! Mine are shooting stardom! I almost have the Dragon Dance socks done for DIL so I should be able to cast on this week after I finish fondling the yarn a little more! When I showed the yarn to my daughter though, she said, it’s nice but I was hoping for purple (which can be deciphered as I was hoping for purple so you’d volunteer to make these socks for me)! Can’t wait to read about the yarn…but that’s for tonight!

Thanks!

Yay, mine arrived today, thank goodness! I was going nuts yesterday because it didn’t arrive on Saturday. Sure, I had something else to knit, but I was was so excited to start my new socks. I kept checking this thread and reporting to my husband how many people had reportedly gotten their yarn already. He, and now I, were wondering just how many people are in the sock club. How many members are there? It would be cool to know how many members there are in each country.

Ok, enough of my wonderings…Happy knitting everyone!

Oh lord. It’s taking every fiber of my being to not cheat on my other project (which just may be the last few inches of the January sock) with this one. Oh I love green, and I dubbed them “My Guinness Socks” BEFORE I saw the photo of the yarn in a Guinness glass (of which I have one…yay Guinness!). LOL I absolutely love the shades, and love the pattern, and took the skein to work and made all the mundanes touch it and squish it and comment on it. I was, perhaps, a bit excited.

I ended up liking January’s sock better than I thought I would, I’m not a “red” person either, but the beautiful shading and striping, and the interesting pattern definitely grew on me. But the GREEN, oh the lush, summery, wonderful GREEN…… le sigh.

Mine arrived in North Dakota yesterday! I got home and right away asked my husband if my sock yarn came–he was surprised that I knew that it may have arrived, as he had hidden it on me, and was going to try to tease me to see how long it would take for me to realize it had arrived–needless to say, it did not take long! What a fabulous color! I’ll have to try to knit the socks super-crazy fast so I can have them when I go to the Final 4 hockey tournament in Denver next month (and hopefully cheer on my favorite hockey team!!!)! The color matches the jersey pretty darn close!

Now if only I could get my postal person to stop *folding* things so she can cram them into my tiny mailbox, I’d be a happy camper… My patterns wind up all wrinkled and creased when she does that!

But I really should consider myself Lucky! Every other time she’s got to deliver a two-day package I get it a week late, so I should be happy I got it in only three days! :)

I received my sock yarn and I’m so excited that it’s the color I was hoping it would be. I don’t want to spoil it for those you who haven’t received it yet. I was reading the dyer’s notes and laughing. I love the photos of the yarn in the Guinness pint glass. That made me laugh because I was drinking ice tea out of my Guinness pint glass. Great minds think alike. It’s great to be Irish!
