Announcements, March Kit Questions | March 25, 2008
Mostly just re-categorized some posts. I only remember combining two posts on the same subject. The “photo links” post and “I’m finished” post will stick around for another couple of weeks before reverting to normal status from announcement status which is what keeps them at the top of the blog .
Thank you everyone for keeping your “It’s Here” together as comments to the original post. I’m sure our “feed” readers appreciate that.
If you happen to be a speed knitter that got your kit early please hold off on posting photos here for at least a couple of weeks. However first one done gets to title and start the “WhooHoo I’m finished post”! Everyone please be on the look out for that post. If you’re first and after you post send me an e-mail via the blog mom contact I’ll magically convert your post to an Announcement sticky!Happy Spring everyone. Enjoy the new kit when you get it and in the meanwhile you can play the game Tina posted earlier via a link to luckycharms.

Well at least I got the paragraph breaks where I wanted them. Maybe the double tag is because it’s the second “announcement” posted today. Whatever, Happy Knitting, Alice
Now to convert back to my “normal” self.
Finished?? I just received my package today- Tuesday!! So. Calif. Haven’t been able to come on this site for several days because of chatter. I love the surprise factor.
You gotta allow for the Cece’s in the group that seem to get a pair of new socks churned out overnight. Some folks had their packages on Saturday! Mine was here on Monday as I think was Cece’s. She had mentioned before she was holding off on starting any new socks until her March kit arrived. She’s been in sock withdrawal for at least a couple of days and she’s a fast knitter under normal circumstances. And then there’s HappyStasher who is also quick with the needles. I’m just covering the bases so we can hopefully avoid spoilage for the overseas folks and the Chanuks who may (are) still waiting for their kits to clear customs. It also saves me from having to condense a bunch of “I’ve finished mine” posts that tend to spring up if I don’t corral them from the start like Tina has done with the “It’s Here” post.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Alice! :o) Actually, I haven’t even cast these on yet. I had another sock project “jump ahead” in line so I want to finish those first. When those are done, these will be next on the needles for sure.
I am finished…and holding off on posting pics is fine, as I have not figured out how to post them on this forum. If you want to see them, I am llamalady on Ravelry. They are posted in my projects under the spoiler alert.
Your post is now a stickie so it shows up on the second page. I’ll be out of town this weekend but by Monday I’ll change it to Announcement status so it’ll be at the top of the blog for a while. Congratulations! Happy Knitting, Alice
