There will be a lot of Blue Moon staff at Rosario and we can make several trips to the ferry to pick people up. If I knew which ones the most were coming in on that needed rides that would be helpful. So maybe if you commented to this post with the time your ferry docks at Orcas. We can work something out.
thanks

I’m planning on taking the 12:05 ferry Monday from Anacortes which arrives at 1:25. I am driving and can take 2-3 people (depending on how much luggage) to Rosario.
Looking at the spring schedule my van with room for some extra passengers and luggage will arrive with either the 12:30 or 3:15 ferry. We won’t load until Friday Harbor so if there are any walk-on campers needing a ride once we load let me know.
All will depend on how inthralled we get with the alpacas and general Friday Harbor tourist things. I’m thinking it will most likely be the 3:15 ferry.
Happy Knitting, Alice
I am picking up a fellow camper at Sea-Tac around 1pm and we are planning on catching the 3:30 ferry in Anacortes.
I’ll have room for 2-3 more folks in my car if anyone needs a ride on Monday(from Seattle or from the ferry).
Michelle and I are planning on the 3:15 (or 3:30) Anacortes ferry on Monday. We’ll have my son’s Blazer, so will have room for 3 more campers and stuff.
I am taking the 12 shuttle from Seatack airport to Anacortes on Monday the 14th, I was told it would take 2 hours 45 minutes or so to get to the ferry so I guess I will be taking the 3:15 or 3:30 ferry to Orcus. I was wondering how I was going to get from the ferry to the resort. In fact someone told me the hotel should have a shuttle there and I was going to call the resort to see if they would, glad I checked the blog today. I have posted a couple of times but I hadn’t seen anyone else post until today.
Sheila - I am picking up a fellow camper at Sea-Tac on Monday(her plan lands around 12:30pm). If you don’t mind hanging out at the airport for a bit, I would be happy to save you the cost of a shuttle ride.
Rubycakes or Michelle - if there is room in your car I will be a walk on to the 3:15 or 3:30 ferry. Would love to catch a ride to Rosario with one of you.
Sure, Celia. I have room in my car. I am guessing we’ll be able to easily spot other campers on the ferry. I’ll be working on my March socks for the ride on the ferry.
I can’t believe its nearly a week from camp!
Rubycakes, sorry for the late reply, I did answer you on Ravely but I forgot to ask if I could catch a ride from the ferry to the resort? I appreciate the invitation to ride to the ferry from seatack but I have already paid for the ticket for round trip on the shuttle to and from seatack. Wish i would have known about you sooner. Thanks again for the invitation hopefully we will meet on the ferry, but if I could catch a ride to the resort from the ferry i would appreciate it if there is room. Thanks
Hi Celia, Peggy and I (I’m Michelle!) figured us campers could spot each other easily enough and we’ll be happy to offer seats to walk-ons. Peg’s a planner, but I figure to just wing it - we’ll meet each other on the boat and work out who’s riding with who once we’re there!
Yup - I am with you Michelle. I figure we campers will be able to spot each other on the ferry and can work out the details for rides.
While on the ferry, I plan to be sitting on the deck outside somewhere (weather permitting) working on my March socks.
I will be taking the ferry over on Sunday in a rental car. I will be glad to take any NSK’s to the Rosario. I have PM’d a couple of people on Ravelry and may have a passenger or two, but I can’t seem to access Ravelry to make final arrangements. Have they crashed or is it just me? I am CaroleNJ on Ravelry, so answer me here if you are a rider or if you can tell me anything about Ravelry being down. Thank you thank you thank you! Yay one more week.
Nevermind on the Ravelry server question, I can login using Explorer, but not with Firefox.
Susan (Zennor on Ravelry) and I will be taking the ferry on Monday, sometime between noon and mid-afternoon. We can certainly give a lift to the Rosario to a couple of people.
Our schedule isn’t cast in concrete (we’ll be driving up from PDX), so I hesitate to give a definite ferry time — but if anyone is hanging about looking knitterly and hopeful, we’ll try to fetch you along!
