What about Cat’s (just in case someone’s missed it or forgets to bring theirs)? I assume you’ll have that one too since STR figures so heavily in the pictures. Happy Knitting and so looking forward to camp. Save one of Steph’s books for me please, I already have Cat’s in the going to camp pile, Alice

Yes ma’am it will be there too. Any thing else we should bring?

Well you’ve already said you’re bringing extra help. Extra ball winders and swifts as you know some of us are going to want to start knitting that new color right away. Maybe sock blockers and of course about 10 times as much yarn as last year. Remember how the yarn vultures descended last year and picked the racks clean in one hour? Oh and maybe save back some of the Rare Gems to put out later so some of the late sleepers can have a chance at them. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Alice

Yay! I’ve been waiting to buy both Steph’s and Cat’s books at camp. I hope you bring some STR in “faulty dyer” and I’d love a skein of STR lightweight in Pebble Beach! I can’t wait for camp! Now, back to my homework knitting…

What ever new color they find on the rack that they’ve never seen in person before of course. It also seemed that Lunasea showed up for the first time at camp even though it was available on the website soon there after I think. That’s all I meant by new color. Alice

I’m out of the loop and not at camp, unfortunately. What’s the name of Steph’s book and where can I purchase it?

Title is “Things I Learned From Knitting” and should be available at your local bookstore or yarn shop. It’s release date was April Fool’s Day. She also has another one in the pipes. Hope that helps you find a copy. Alice (I’m a support your local business type over order it from Amazon)

Hey Tina, will the profit from the books sold at Camp Crows Feet also go to Doctors without Borders? Just wondering after reading Stephanie’s tour listing for the event in Portland.

Yes, Alice all the profits from the blue moon book sales go to Doctors without Borders.

I haven’t seen a thread and know it is a little late in the game - but some sheep to shoe would be a good thing to pack( for Tina and the sockateers) for additional stash enhancement.

aha Kathy I had the same thought. They will be there!!

They had a couple there last year and I was tempted but I didn’t have a spindle let alone a wheel. This year with the yarn crawl before camp going to Weaving Works I just may have a spindle. (Oh no not another hobby! I don’t have time for the ones I enjoy now. :-D )Happy Knitting, Alice
