Camp Crows Feet | April 20, 2008
Thank you Tina. I can’t say that I have ever had more fun than I had a sock camp. Thank you to all the Sockateers, JC, Cat, Steph and Cookie. It was an unbelievable experience.

I second that! Carla
I had too much fun. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers and Blue Moon staff. Hope you get some rest sometime.
Definitely the most fun I have had in a long, long time! I really enjoyed it, and learned a lot. Can’t wait for next year. Sockateers, staff, and camp counselors, thank you so much!
It was sooo much fun!! I recommend it to everyone. Those of us on the second seaplane leaving Saturday morning barely made it out. If we had been two minutes later, we would have had to wait until the weather cleared up again. The sock money gods were with us and we made it out. I got to the airport in plenty of time. Made it home without any problems, then I took a beading class today. Thank you all again to Tina and Blue Moon staff and the teachers. Yeah, team!
Sock Camp was more fun than I think is perhaps quite legal in the state of Washington. Thank you to my 80 new friends, and the Sockateers, Steph, Cat, JC, Cookie and especially Tina! My monkey and I had a blast at Camp Crows Feet!
(And how cool is it that my first knitting class ever was with Cat Bordhi, for heaven’s sake?)
(see you next year….) Cathy
Ditto! I. had. a. blast. I didn’t think last year’s sock camp could be beat, but it was. I’m going to try very hard to make it next year too. I can’t imagine not going. Many thanks to all of you who were involved with sock camp in any way.
Lou
I have to agree with everyone-it was an awesome, fabulous sock camp! But then again, I expected it to be! And like Lou said, I wasn’t sure it could be done, but camp was even BETTER than last year! I guess I shouldn’t be surprised because just like the Yarn Harlot and Cat never run out of material, same goes for the creativity of the Blue Moon gang and the Sockateers! With Cookie and JC teaching classes, too, it was a BIG score for us campers!
Admittedly, camp is not for sissies! I’m still recovering!
Sock camp rocked! I also thought it would be hard to beat last year’s camp–but you guys sure did! I had more fun than a barrel of sock monkeys!! Thanks to all of you for everything. You guys are amazing!
You’re right Leslie, camp is not for sissies. I’m having trouble functioning today!!
I agree with everyone here! I have been to quite a few knitting retreats… And this one By Far has been the best one! I LOVED being there and meeting everyone. The Yarn wasn’t so bad either wink, wink;)
I 3rd, 4th, 5th what everyone said. It was better than everyone from last year said it would be.
I’m still recovering too as Leslie & I were really draggin’ at our lunch-time knitting group at work yesterday.
Loved all the classes and teachers - Cat, JC, Cookie, Stephanie & Tina. And big hugs to all the BMFA crew - staffers, Sockateers and our beloved Depraved Dyer!
