Diagonal Slip Stitch

Has anyone ever heard of this stich?  My sister is trying to do this and is calling me for help.  ts so hard to explain things over the phone.

K1 * K5, K2-tog & k-1st *, K1  (the st is typed high and small like you would for first 1st)

This is similar to the stitch patterns used in ‘my so called scarf’. Before slipping the K2-tog stitches off the left needle, knit the first stitch again. It creates a nice pattern and keeps the stitch count the same in the row.
