I’m having SUCH a hard time not looking at the spoilers!!! And I figure that, given the post office we have in our area, it might be Friday before mine arrives…..can I hold out that long??
This is killing me. I know it’s here in Thunder Bay, Ontario - but they won’t leave it in my sunporch, I have to sign for it! So tomorrow on my supper break I will be visiting my local postal outlet and they’d best be handing over the goodies
On a positive note we’re driving to Toronto this weekend and back the following weekend so 4 days of driving for him and knitting for me, hurray!
Everyone except Washington and Oregon left yesterday.
And these will go out today and tomorrow. I would love to have the space and woman-power to send these all out at once but alas I do not. They will be there soon.

Hi! I got mine yesterday in Ontario. No spoilers yet, sorry, as the camera has been safely “put away” while the place is being painted - and I can’t remember where. ooops.

Here’s your song: Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow, its only a day away….The yarn will go out tomorrow….(arrange as necessary)
I can’t think of a better birthday present for me down here in California. Tomorrow’s the big B-Day … and maybe there’ll be something either on the porch or in the mailbox!
Oregon and Washington ship today and tomorrow, huh? While I admit that that’s fair (SIGH!) at least I know not to hope there’ll be a box on my doorstep tonight.
I got mine here in Melbourne, Australia this morning. I absolutely adore the colourway Now I only have to decide which pattern to knit up. Decisions decisions…..
For the last week I have been thinking Goody Goody Gumdrops, it is almost time for the next shipment. I wanted to break into the US Postal truck in our parking lot when I left to do my errands. I just knew my kit was in there, but I had to wait for hours until the postman got to our building. If I had seen him I would have begged for my kit before he actually, officially did the mail delivery to our building (his last stop on this part of his route. He would have given it to me, too.) As it is RSC has reached the Atlantic Ocean, and all is well in Salem, Mass. My label is Lollipop!
Got mine in Texas and I love it!! I am not a ‘pastel’ person but this is beautiful and I have two twin grandbabies and six grandnieces who would LOVE to have gumdrop socks! Thanks Tina–for pushing all of comfort zones! Change is good!
So I’m not the only one who had nefarious thoughts of trailing the mailperson, or laying in wait at the post office. I’m hoping it’s just not that hard to get things from Scappoose into my mail box overnight.
I’ll live till the 25th somehow if it’s not there tonight.
We have a confirmed arrival in Maryland! LOVE this colorway more than any of the others. It matches so much of my wardrobe. And the anklet is a pattern I can wear pretty much year round after I move back to Houston! So pretty!
Got it in New Bedford, Massachusetts. My label is “Sugar, Sugar”; which was a favorite song when I was younger. Couldn’t believe my label was that one! I love the color and the patterns and want to buy another skein so I can make both. Glad you dyed more Tina; I think you will be glad you did. Can we order them as soon as now?
Gosh, here in Nebraska I usually don’t get mine until Saturday, so I was plesantly surprised to come home and find my packge from BMF waiting on my doorstep. Lovely colorway! And the patterns…which one to make??? Candy Cane on my ball band.
another Colorado arrival. I love the colors and the yarn is so soft. My label says Sweet Pea, which, as a special ed elem.teacher, I sometimes call my little students. Good job ladies!

Oklahoma arrival today. Tracy the Mail Lady even brought it to the front door. She must have yarndar.
1. Really do love it Tina. thank you for allowing your conflicted self out of the box!
2. reminds me of summers as a youngster at my grandmother’s beach house at Bonnet Shores, RI. there was an awesome boardwalk where kids always got the same treats pictured!!
3. Smart thinking dyer and production assistants, no less than 2 more skeins needed here for my girls and of course it’s a big old bonus month with the 2nd pattern. i’ll be making both for me and extra for the little feet!
happy im MA!
Got it in Southern CA this morning! My mom was with me and caught me smelling the yarn. Yes, I am one of the ones who likes the smell of hand dyed wool, not exactly pretty, but it has good associations tied to the scent. The color isn’t something I would purchase, but it is pretty. Both patterns look great, although I am leaning toward the Gumdrops since the Sweet Tarts are similar to a pair I have already made. Although I may have to purchase more yarn and make both. Lots of little girls in the family who would love them too. Great job as always to Tina, designers, and the entire team. Thank you.
Oooh yum yum:) It’s hit the UK!!!!!!! Well it’s arrived here in Weston-Super-Mare earlier than usual for a change and once I saw the colourway and squealed in excitement didn’t mind so much that the postie had woken me up at such an ungodly hour…..
Thanks so much for this colourway Tima I really didn’t think anything could live up to the last shipments colourway but this one does and I LOVE both patterns
Mine in Ohio arrived yesterday (Thursday). I love both patterns; my favorites of the year so far. I think I should start a separate JC Briar fan club, as I have loved beyond expression every pattern of hers that I’ve done. The dyer’s notes this time are great, and I struggle with pastels like Tina does. I’m trying really hard to love them, but it’s a challenge. Nevertheless, I’m doing the anklets in the pastel yarn.

It came yesterday and I am so happy with this colorway! I still have Leaflings on my needles…so ya ya..a little bit behind here…but I may jump right into GoodyGoody!!
Landed in Boise!!!!! Even though I’m not a pastel person, I think the anklets will look great. I’ve got some medium weight HotFlash in my stash and I’m thinking I’ll use that for the other pair.

Mine arrived in North Idaho yesterday. I’m not a pastel-loving knitter, but the yarn looks good enough to eat. LOVE the pattern by JC Briar, though. Can’t wait to start, maybe I will like pastels after doing the socks. Thanks Tina for yummy yarn and two patterns. (candy, too)
Touchdown in rural NE Wisconsin yesterday. Gumdrops are in my future, as is another skein of something light and summery looking for the anklets. YUM!!
wow! I totally forgot what month it was. I thought I had another month to do the cleo stockings before this came. But surprise! My husband is going to be mad because I have to make these before I make his socks……..
Too funny–I opened the package and said, “wow! This is the girliest, candy colored baby yarn ever!” Then I read the notes and laughed. I also feel a little uncomfortable with pastels–I would never buy it for myself but now I am so excited to knit with it! yea sock club!
I received my yarn here in St. Louis yesterday and just love it. I am not a pastel person either but this yarn, I do love it and both patterns are great. I feel a little sweet tart coming on for right now and when the yarn becomes available, this will go in the stash for a little goody gumdrop fun about next Feb. when I am looking for any memory of summer. Another winner Tina.
The package arrived today in Helena, MT. We were out running errands, and upon arriving home, my husband said “It looks like your sock club package is finally here - you had better get it while I unload the car.” I have enjoyed the previous patterns and yarn, but this yarn is definitely for me! Worth the wait…
It’s here, it’s here. (insert Snoopy happy dance, or the Hippo from Fantasia, your choice) My kit is here. I’m starting the anklets tonight, only I’m making them in Hotflash. I’ve been waiting for the right pattern for that yarn. Maybe a bunch of these for my mom for Yule (yes, I’m thinking that far out), as she lives in the desert. Hmmmmmmm….
It’s arrived in the UK this morning, first time it’s arrived before the end of the month. And I love it! It’s my favourite so far, I can’t stop looking at it! and the patterns are lovely too. Thank you Tina!
I just have to say a great big thank you for the two patterns. I found the last two patterns above my skill level so I’ve only knit the Serendipidy socks. I love the anklet and it is definitely do-able for me. I’m going to make it into a regular length sock with a ribbed cuff. Hurray!
I got mine today in Anchorage, Alaska! I was hoping it would come yesterday - because that was my birthday - but today works just fine too. I’m not the biggest fan of pastels, but I like all the different pastel colors together and I really like the two patterns! It will be hard to decide which to knit!
Just cast off on the first of the May socks at work yesterday(OK - I’m a little behind - I started over on the darn things 12 TIMES before I got the toe to look right) and got home to find a package on my doorstep! I’ve ditched Cleo for the candy socks.
I got mine today in Anchorage, Alaska too! What wonderful pastel colors. It just brightens up the whole room which has been rather dull with all of the rainy days. Now if I can just decide which pattern I’m going to knit, they’re both wonderful.
Got mine today (in Mississippi), but my ‘Gumdrops’ pattern is missing pages 5 and 6 (sad face). The pattern looks really cool though and I’m looking forward to starting it. I sent an email using the ‘contact’ page. Has this happened to anyone else?
Mine arrived this afternoon, here in Fairbanks, Alaska. And I was thinking, “PASTELS SUCK!” But then I looked at my last order of Storeytime and I love, love, love it; so GoodyGoody grew on me all day. Ten hours after arrival and I am itching to cast on asap. Thanks Tina! I love this shipment!

I’m on the leg of my second Cleo. That was a tough pattern to navigate, (snapped a dpn on the K2tog through the back loop). I am looking forward to the seemingly less difficult anklet-so cute!! Beautiful colors, love pastels. So different than the last 3 kits!
Mine arrived in Richmond, VA on Thursday but I was out of town for work so it was very nice to have my new kit waiting for me when I returned home. I like both patterns! I can’t wait to cast on JC’s Gumdrop socks! And I think I will try making a slightly longer leg with Hot Flashes pattern with another STR colorway for me and eventually make some socks for one of my nieces. Thanks for the great kit Tina!
Hi, got mine yesterday in UK. Soooooo happy colour but cannot decide what to do. Do you think I can knit one adult and one child (9 yr old) anckle socks?
My Rockin’ Socks have arrrived..my husband met the mail carrier, then came in singing the Rockin’ Socks are here…
Beautiful..itsomething I wouldn’t think of for socks..just love them..
Tina..I run the same feeling as you do about color..to see my home it is all the bold, rich jewel tones..I once tried pastels..they didn’t fit,not the uplifting as I need to live around..
So be Happy Dear Depraved dyer..You are not alone..Cheers
Arrived in central California (Oakdale) today. I am going to open it in the quiet of the night and relish the patterns, colorway and then begin the difficult job of deciding which pattern. I am leaning toward the Gumdrop pattern though. I am exicted!!!!
Mine was waiting for me when I returned from travel. This is beautiful x 137!!!! I can’t wait to jump in and what a treat to have a choice on the patterns! Everything’s nice with Sugar and Spice!
This is my favorite package so far! I love both the colorway and the pattern(s). Normally I the only time I like pastels is in sock yarn You may not love pastels, but you produce some nice ones…
Anyone got their kit in Europe? I didn’t read too closely through all posts because I don’t want any spoilers, so excuse me if I missed someones post!
