This is killing me. I know it’s here in Thunder Bay, Ontario - but they won’t leave it in my sunporch, I have to sign for it! So tomorrow on my supper break I will be visiting my local postal outlet and they’d best be handing over the goodies :)

On a positive note we’re driving to Toronto this weekend and back the following weekend so 4 days of driving for him and knitting for me, hurray!

For the last week I have been thinking Goody Goody Gumdrops, it is almost time for the next shipment. I wanted to break into the US Postal truck in our parking lot when I left to do my errands. I just knew my kit was in there, but I had to wait for hours until the postman got to our building. If I had seen him I would have begged for my kit before he actually, officially did the mail delivery to our building (his last stop on this part of his route. He would have given it to me, too.) As it is RSC has reached the Atlantic Ocean, and all is well in Salem, Mass. My label is Lollipop!

Got it in Southern CA this morning! My mom was with me and caught me smelling the yarn. Yes, I am one of the ones who likes the smell of hand dyed wool, not exactly pretty, but it has good associations tied to the scent. The color isn’t something I would purchase, but it is pretty. Both patterns look great, although I am leaning toward the Gumdrops since the Sweet Tarts are similar to a pair I have already made. Although I may have to purchase more yarn and make both. Lots of little girls in the family who would love them too. Great job as always to Tina, designers, and the entire team. Thank you.

Mine in Ohio arrived yesterday (Thursday). I love both patterns; my favorites of the year so far. I think I should start a separate JC Briar fan club, as I have loved beyond expression every pattern of hers that I’ve done. The dyer’s notes this time are great, and I struggle with pastels like Tina does. I’m trying really hard to love them, but it’s a challenge. Nevertheless, I’m doing the anklets in the pastel yarn.
