I’m totally jealous as my mail carrier is obviously not as stupendous as yours. Mine did NOT come today and I’m leaving the city tomorrow for 5 days. The wait will be excruciating….

I got mine this morning (Minnesota) - and I LOVE it. It might be my favorite color yet.
I’m excited for my package(hope I’m not in the batch that is getting sent on Monday but if it is I hope it arrives before Thanksgiving!) and yet I’m sad that another Rockin’ Sock Club year has passed! Gotta save my pennies for next year’s club! Tina - you and your gang are THE BEST!

East coast people, run to your mailbox. I got mine just now and will be starting to knit within the hour. My other five pairs are finished, and hopefully, buy the end of November, I will be anxiously awaiting for my January 2009 sock club yarn so I can start my next six pairs.
Sorry Pacific Northwesterners but since some have to go on Monday these were the ones to go. That way everyone will get their packages by the holiday.

Got mine in western Massachusetts. I LOVE it! It’s my favorite yet. (Though I didn’t love how the mailperson at my new address shoved it into the mailbox…took me a while to get it out. I hope my Blue Moon order that shipped today doesn’t suffer the same fate in a few days!)
Perhaps the only disadvantage to living in the Pacific NW is that we sometimes are the last to get our shipments–smile! Of course we ARE physically closer to BFMA…Okay Tina I’ll just have to be very very patient and hope that mine arrives by Wednesday!

My shipment arrive yesterday in Montgomery Texas..I love, love the package is wonderful..I had to hurry to wind it off. Yes, Tina you have come a long way, I appreciated the journey..it has made me wake up my dead creativity..Thank you.
I just got mine! I LOVE IT!!! It is almost exactly what I was picturing for the September shipment, except I was seeing a bit of rust orange too (my favorite color). I have loved every shipment this year, it is always so much fun to see what color choices will arrive. Even if it isn’t my first choice, I will end up seeing the beauty in the color and pattern. Thank you all for the hard work and love you put into each product and shipment, the care and quality shows through. I look forward to next year.

I picked mine up from the post office today in illinois. Simply beautiful and the pattern too! Love it, love it, love it.
Mine arrived in New Hampshire on Thursday and I love it — probably my favorite of the year.
I am in LOVE AGAIN!!! I am never dissappointed and can’t wait for next year!

You are a tease, Tina. Mine arrived in Northern Idaho on Saturday and I believed you when you said the PNW kits would go out on Monday. hrmmph. The colorway is beautiful beautiful. And the pattern is luscious. Thank you. Thanks too for Dyer’s Notes from the heart.

Arrived in Iowa on Saturday. Wonderful finish to a great year. Looking forward to sign-ups for next year. Happy Knitting everyone. And thank you Blue Moonies for not sending the midwest last. They had 4″of white stuff near Des Moines on Saturday which I consider to be almost as wonderful as yarn. (Sorry everyone I love SNOW!)
I am hoping Deb that because of the massive fun we are planning at the barn sale that I will be forgiven for this.

I think some of Idaho is still there. My friend in Boise got her’s on Friday, but mine hasn’t arrived yet (Boise also). I will settle for admiring her’s until it gets here.
Got mine!!! It arrived Friday, but I wasn’t home until Sunday night. It’s LOVERLY!!!! And I can’t wait to knit that pattern over and over.

I love the color and the pattern! I love the versitility of the pattern. My 1st pair of (completed) socks (they’re Jaywalkers)are made with the colorway that this colorway was based on. How nice to have a different version of it!

Tina..why did you have to mention all the fun at the barn sale?? S@&T girl, that is just even more torture(I just may have to come down)! I know my kit won’t be here till tomorrow. Actually it isn’t a bad thing I’ll get my errands run today to free up my afternoon tomorrow - my mail comes about 3pm. I just imagine myself up late Wed night knitting away being bleary eyed on Thanksgiving, where I will be obsessively knitting on my sock(is it rude to be at the in-laws knitting away? hee hee)…which by the way, I had to look at the spoilers and I’m over the blue moon excited! Have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Give Henry a pat for me.

Yea! It finally made it all the way to Portland! I love it! I can see some of the variation mentioned in the dyer’s notes — my keychain skein is markedly different than the full skein. Very cool. Off to knit and I’ll see you at the barn sale…

Meanwhile, my kit arrived today in Seattle. I am up to my neck in other deadlines, so I just wore the skein for a while. It has been a cold damp day here, and I keep the house at 64. This means that wearing a necklace of this lovely yarn both looked good, and kept me warm. Thank you - another winner
I got mine here in Australia today. Love the muddy rainbow colours and the needle size guide. Definitely joining up for next years club - had so much fun this year. Thanks heaps.

Arrived two days ago in a small Canadian city on the Prairies, but I didn’t get it from the post office until yesterday. This is one great colourway - thank you Tina.
My kit arrived last week. I have really enjoyed all the yarn and the interesting patterns in this club! I have only managed to finish one of the six pairs of socks thus far, I’ve gotten distracted by other knitting and by life in general, but I have plans to knit them all. Thanks for all the interesting ideas and the beautiful yarn!
Just got mine yesterday in the Bay Area in CA. Now I can cast on and get to work!
Mine came, FINALLY, to Camano Island, WA, on Black Friday, but I was totally BLUE until it did! I didn’t go out, stayed waiting for the mailperson. I knew if it showed up in the rest of WA on Wednesday that it would be the next mail day before it came to the island. We always get an extra day for delivery “because we are remote”… this is what I am told by the USPS… NOT! But even the brown truck guys say we take an extra day…. anyway, I LOVE IT! I still love Tide Pooling the best, but this is a close second…by a fiber!
I LOVE IT! I am just now posting, because hubs was sick all through Thanksgiving, and generously shared with me, so now I have been sleeping for 2 days straight, after having to haul both of us to the Urgent Care clinic at the hospital off-island … I waited too long to order with my coupon… because I wanted to use it on RSC goodies, and then slept through the last possible hours to use my coupon. Guess I’ll have to wait for the next coupon to come with the 2009 Club!
I would so LOVE to come down for the barn sale… but it’s not looking promising. But I have HOPE! I missed Madrona last year and will again this year, but only because I am saving for the sock knitters’ gathering to end all sock gatherings!
I have had my gorgeous kit for awhile now and have enjoyed being “dazed” by it everytime I pass by! And the dyer’s notes! - so touching!! They made me feel that this, my first membership in any sock club, was truly a wise choice. (of course, all the fantastic kits all year helped, too!!!) With that warmth and passion for your “work” we can never be anything but dazed!!!

Part of my post did not make it, so am adding to it! All of the kits have been wonderful, but this new one is spectacular. I am still working on the earlier ones, but that is ok, I enjoy the process and I really enjoy exploring the different patterns. I appreciate all of the hard work that went into these kits and can’t believe the year is complete.

mine is still not here! I have not read the above posts for fear of spoilers, so I don’t know where it arrived and where not. I have moved since the last kit but sent an email to change the address and have a deal with the austrian post that they forward all my mail that still gets sent to the old address, so this should not be a problem. So, please can you just say you sent it and I need more patience? I am soooo waiting for this kit!
