After you’ve knitted both stitches, do you bring them both to the right needle?  Thank you!

The kit is beautiful, and I can’t wait to get started on my socks tomorrow (the 31st)!  I’m going to try to do 2-at-a-time.

Not first but ecstatic just the same

Notorious Sock Knitters | January 30, 2009
By mrstee@telus.net

This is my first time in this club but not in a sock club. I know I won’t be first or last….I’m just glad when they come. My family likes it too because I am in a really good mood for a while cleaning and getting things out of the way so I can knit in peace!

January '09 Kit Questions, Notorious Sock Knitters, Warning Spoilage | January 30, 2009
By Jennifer Hook

Uggh, please help.  I just strung 180 of 200 beads and went to push them down only to be stopped by a knot!  My only consolation at this point is that I didn’t find the knot after knitting 3 inches into the cuff.  However, I have to unstring, cut a foot or so of yarn and start over - KNOT Ha! the end of the world but frustrating and making me look at the wound ball with skepticism!  What if it happens again - what will I do?

Hey veterans - don’t leave me hanging and don’t tell me to cut and start over. How’s that for a challenge?!?

Confession.

I have never ever ever in my life knitted a sock before. ever. I’ve wanted to, but haven’t. I joined the sock club because I am addicted to STR and think the yarn is fantastic. I do plan to learn to knit socks, I just haven’t started down that path yet. So… is this pattern too much for a first sock? Should I save this beautiful package until I’ve done an easier sock??

Two socks at a time anyone???

Notorious Sock Knitters | January 29, 2009
By Linda

Is anyone trying to do two socks at a time with this pattern? I have never liked just knitting one sock than having to start over again. I did it for my first pair of socks, and than switched to two at a time and have been doing it ever since. Would love to hear from someone already doing this…..
