Somebody please help out a new sock club member. Is there a particular sight where people are posting pictures of the first kit? I’m optimistic that I will receive mine this week, but I have no shame and would likely succumb to looking at others pictures if I knew how to.

Please comment here in this post when you receive your package. Remember we do it this way in order to keep the blog readable and usable and chatty.
Otherwise we end up with hundreds of ” I got mine ” posts. This way it is themed all together in one place and gives us the ability to comment back and forth.
400 Domestic packages left here yesterday.
Are you one of them?

I have no idea what I’m doing but if this works wanted to say I’m very excited about this club and can’t wait for my 1st pkg to arrive

While I’m excitedly awaiting the delivery of our first kit I am trying to distract myself by working on the current sock project. Last night I finished #1 of a pair of Lace Cuff Anklets from a pattern from Interweave (can I say that name on a STR website?!) It’s not STR yarn, so I hesistate to mention it unless it’s not considered bad manners…
Does anyone know how to add an avatar to the profile? I couldn’t figure out how to do it from the profile screen.

We can all post to this blog, and comment on each other’s entries. Is that pretty much it? Very cool.
I’m looking foward to meeting everyone here, and seeing the spectacular socks you knit. This is going to be fun.Â

Waiting for each shipment must be this exciting. Not sure as this is my first one ever. I was too late in applying last year. I wonder, what will be the in package and will I know how to knit it? How much longer
