I put beads all the way down the foot because these socks are a gift for my sister, and are meant to be worn around the house with slippers vs. outside shoes. She’s got pretty conservative tastes and while I think she’ll love these pretty socks, I don’t think she would wear beaded socks in public. If I was planning to wear these with shoes I would have stopped the beads before I got to the instep.
