They’re missing the photo of Carrie’s snippet of yarn.
lol. I was wondering about that. I kept looking to see if I was reading correctly then looking at the photo on the bottom of the page. I finally just thought, “Wow. That’s one big snippet!” and went to wind my yarn.

pretty sure Carrie’s snipet picture is missing. but then again the snipet was missing when you re-made the yarn! let’s call it good-good.

You got me on the picture,I too looked for the sample you were missing and just put it down also I was wondering what your dye bases were this time as you told us last time. Another thing you mentioned was knitting straight and then in a circle. Hmmm I just read the first part of the pattern and it is knitted top down in a circle, guess I better reread and read the entire pattern. By the way Tina you are a wonder, and the yarn is gorgeous. This months yarn and the yarn I just ordered and received this week. I just finished my rogue roses today and put them on my new blockers. I was afraid the patterns in this club would be way too hard for me but with all the great knitters that contribute hints and the super designers I am keeping up. Yay and thanks a bunch for all you do to make this such fun.
ok, it occurred to me that the other thing missing is the story behind the 2 kids on the fire engine. i think that you are the young sassy one on the right, the hair threw me but the cheeks look familiar…

I think something is missing in the heel instructions — like some stitches. According to the instructions, the set up row for the medium heel should have 33 stitches. However, following the instructions for the set up row only gives you 28 stitches. Where are the other five stitches I’m supposed to have???

Mary, did you get an answer to the number of stitches in the row to prepare for the heel. I am making the small size, and I come up with fewer stitches too. The instructions say ’size small only / K3, p1, k5, M1, k5, p1, k3, p1, M1, k4, turn…’
This counts to only 25 stitches. I have 30 stitches on each needle when I come to this. After this line, it starts with instructions for the heel with 31 stitches. I don’t understand this. Is there anyone who has done this and can explain this to me?
