Help please, ran out of yarn

Notorious Sock Knitters | June 11, 2009

I am almost done with my pair of Fraggle socks. Unfortunately I actually managed to run out of yarn before I finished the toe. I was wondering if any kind person here would be willing to send me their leftovers of Pepe La Plume, please? Warning: I live in Germany.

I will gladly send you leftovers. I have only knit 2.5 inches on the leg, knitting 2 at once. So I will keep in touch and if someone else finished before me……. I have other projects on needles and am a wife, mother, veterinarian. So… this will give me a reason to get ith the program and knit more quickly.

Thank you! That’s very kind. I don’t mind waiting at all. I have more needles that I can use for other projects to keep me busy in the meantime. :)

Have you used your emergency skein? Might get you finished and maybe the Sockateers can sneek an extra emergency skein into the next club kit for you to replace the one you use now. Also, if you haven’t, post your request on Socks That Rawk! group forum on Ravelry. For some reason it seems most of the club members are also Ravelry members and follow that more closely than this.

Nadja, I have some left and I live in Finland, so you could get it in a couple of days. Pm me on ravelry (same username).

Thanks everyone.

@Alice, I hadn’t thought of trying Ravelry… Don’t know why, really. Sometimes I just think of the easiest things last. :) I would have used the emergency skein but if I hadn’t given it to a friend to use as a keyring charm.

@birgit, thank you for the offer! I PMed you on Ravelry (if I picked the right person :) ).
