Actually more like klutzy wutzy. Has anyone noticed how late we are? We are very, very late for what we consider a very important date, and it is all my fault. You see, I am a bit of a klutz, always have been. If I slowed down, I probably fair a bit better but that is just not going to happen, so I walk into things and I fall, mostly getting a bit bruised and sore.
Well… over a week ago I tripped on a piece of sidewalk and went down fast and hard and hit my head. I am fine, just a bit of a brain jiggle, which made it a little hard to meet deadlines.
So… what that means to you is that we will be start shipping on Thursday when the pattern and dyer’s notes are here.
Stay tuned for your playlist and a contest. I am going to run out (carefully) and proof the pattern and notes so they can got to press.
I am really sorry!
Hint 1: We are revisiting a popular sock club theme.
UPDATE:
OK on Wednesday we will play a new RSC game called “the Dyer is in”. You can ask hint type questions and I will answer them. The answers could be straight forward, in code, in rhymne or pun (you know how I feel about those) or even a riddle. Remember I have led you down the garden path before so… all in good fun and it is most certainly not my fault.
I will post with the subject line of ” The Dyer Is In” and you can put your questions in the comments and I will respond to them there.
I think the next one we will try is “Stump the Dyer”.
And a crash helmet is not a bad idea. Although I have to say with all my klutzy maneuvers this is the very first time I have hit my head.

WEll it turns out that 4 am is not my best time for knitting socks. I pretty much had my butt kicked. I figured out the problem I had, the marker that ends the round? Its not just a ’suggestion’. For some reason I stopped at random in the last round and just decided to put the heel there?
I guess I was more tired than I thought..so I have ripped backto the heel and started it again in the right spot this time. I could and did look at that for about an hour last night before I went on…LOL
But its all sorted out now…user error!!

I am not sure what I did wrong with this first sock. I started out as sock A, got to where I knitted the heel, turned the heel, then picked up the stitches on the first side of the heel but now the stitches are arranged across the top of the foot like it is sock B? Instead of the rose pattern for the first stitches I am knitting.
I am not going to take this back, as I think that it was switched when I did the Wrong Side set up row…Anyone know if when I do the B sock if the opposite will happen again? I would really like to have two opposite patterns.
