Would anyone be up for editing the pattern for a toe up version? We’ve had lots of cuff downs…I’m kind of up for doing this one toe up. Anyone else?

Remember that there was a coupon code error and the real code is not in the January dyer’s notes but in the March Dyer’s Notes ones on the very back page.
Joann would also like you to know that it is programmed to turn off today at 9:00 PM Pacific Time/Midnight Eastern Time and that she cannot change it.
I say how can it be that we cannot change it and we are looking into it, but this is how it stands right now.
thanks!

I think I lost it… let me know if you come across it.
Well actually I do not think I lost it, that is not true. My almost complete and really full NSK binder is not where I have been keeping it for the past year and well.. I expect foul play. ( where could it be?did the butler do it? oops wait I do not have a butler.) I wish people would not touch and certainly not move or hey, even breathe on my stuff. I worked hard on this puppy and it has all my personal design notes and maybe it was not my best creative work but it was mine. Why would you mess with something that is not yours?
Okay reigning it in to give you the details and Scrapagories and post Etta Mae’s binder for a little inspiration. Was going to post mine but… I am going to try to be really big about this and choose to look at it positively. hmm… oh I know, I was not really creatively happy with it anyway. In all honesty was pretty embarrassed to show you guys and well now that I am telling you about it I think maybe it might have run away from home. Poor sad binder.
Ok letting go (yeah right) and starting over. In with the good air out with the whiny air.
Here is how this contest will roll:
There are 8 categories below which you can enter under. We here at Blue Moon will pick our 16 top favs 2 from each category and then post them here for the whole club to vote on. The 8 grand prize winners from each category win a 40% off coupon that can be used on the anything Blue Moon wise including the 2010 sock club. The 8 runner up will receive a 20% off coupon good for the same. You have until December 20th to send these to us and we will then post the the top 16 on the 22nd and you can peruse and vote until the 26th. We will then announce the winners on the 28th.
When you send your photo please also add in a short description of what you did and why.
Since I have to start over ( see the letting go) and think I might have missed my own point of this whole thing earlier. Instead of making it mostly about what was in the club I am going to make it what the club is for me. A journey maybe or keepsake of my sockie year.
Here are your Scrapagories:
the most Dominating. (in keeping with the whole sock knitting world domination theme)
the most Likely to be Martha Stewart ( I think this speaks for itself)
the most Colourfully outrageous ( well duh)
the most Out of the Box ( a heel here, a toe there. anything goes)
the most Notoriously Sock Knit (celebrating community, knitting, sock…)
the most Tightly Wound ( where organization reigns supreme)
the most Creatively Scrapbooked Challenged ( I would enter here)
the most Hodge Podge ( this is the category if the others are not calling your name)
Please send you binder photo submissions to sockclub@bluemoonfiber arts.com
I think that covers it ( ha ha covers it…get it?) If you have any questions let me know.
I am off to find the butler.

I love the yarn and patterns. I’m just sad because I can’t renew to be a member next year. Not that I don’t WANT to, but I found out I cannot wear wool socks anymore. For some reason, they wear the skin off of my feet and cause sores. I am currently trying to knit a pair out of non-superwash and one out of non-wool to see if it is just superwash wool that is the problem. I’m still a BMFA fan and will spend my $ on the non-superwash products, ones for hats, mittens, scarves, and the like. Just can’t justify joining the club when I can’t enjoy the yarn
And no one else in my family wears wool socks, so I can’t knit them as gifts and still be in the club.
Just had to share my woe. Pity party over, on to the Thanksgiving leftovers!

Got my shipment yesterday. Looks exciting … It has my favorite Cookie A. I can hardly wait to register for next year.
Good Holiday Season to all.

This being my first year with the Rockin’ Sock Club…
I would like an email when the new sign up thingie goes up, with a linky thing, because I MUST sign up again next year….
I, for the life of me, cannot remember how the sign ups went up next year, if I just stumbled upon it on the main site, or if there was a special thing, but I really want to know when it goes live.
Can anyone offer guidance?

When I work Row 8 for pattern A, after the k2 and 3 repeats of K13, w3&k3, I don’t have enough stitches to work the w3&k1, at the end of the row. Did anyone else get stuck here?
