I am a little confused by the directions. I understand where to PM for beginning round well enough, than knit 2 rounds even, ok, got it. But….It says star toe starting with round 4 shape as follows. OK….it tells you what to do for the first 3 rounds for the size large, then jumps to all sizes starting at round 4. What about the first 3 rounds for size small and medium? Is there something missing from the directions? ETA by Alice JANUARY KIT QUESTIONS | MARCH 07, 2008

Does anybody have an opinion on the stretch-ability of STR lightweight ‘DragonDance’? Sock #2 is almost done and before I rip back #1’s a bit too tight toe….just wondering. Any and all insight appreciated.

Hi everyone of you crazy rockin sock knitters. I am a first time rockin socker and I seem to be having some challenges with the size large pattern. I had trouble witht the count for the toe. I don’t see how you get from 72 stitches to 76 stitches without increasing- anyway- Adjusting the pattern, I was able to make it work! Now I am having trouble with star toe. I am using the large size. How do you get from 76 stitches to 66 with the decrease pattern in the directions for knit10, knit2together? Can anoyone give a new rockin socker some help? Thanks much, Lynn

I’m making the medium sock on DPNs. I have 22 stitches on each DPN (2 lace repeats worth) to begin the lace. I see that round 1 of the lace pattern starts with a YO that seems like it would be tricky at the beginning of a round. Will this just work, or do I need to adjust the stitches somehow to avoid the YO as the first “stitch” of a new round? (This will happen 3 times in the round the way I have my stitches divided…)

Many of us are not members of Ravelry, and therefore cannot see the pictures that are being posted there. Flickr is a photo site that is accessible by anyone. So how about a Rockin’ Sock Club 2008 Flickr site again this year? Can someone set that up? I’d like to see all of your great lookin’ socks!ETA by Blog Mom Alice: This is the place to post your links and pictures. Looking forward to seeing some beautiful FO’s.
