Notorious Sock Knitters | January 19, 2008
I am so excited about doing this but was wondering from others about how hard the patterns are. I noticed some people are blogging that some of the patterns last year were overwhelming. I’ve been knitting for over 20 years (gosh that makes me sound old) but usually use hand died yarns that are beautiful so they don’t need a lot of pattern work.
Will we be able to ask for help here? Can’t wait for the first package to come ![]()

Looking forward to another year of RSC! When do the OR people get the next shipment?

Hi everyone!
I’m very bad, I didn’t finish most of last year’s kits. (There were good reasons, like wanting to graduate and such) I only fully finished the first one, and I’m very close to finishing the second one
Would it be better to finish last year’s socks first? Or should I finish the one I’m working on now really fast and just start fresh with this year?

I’m a freshman who has signed on for sock camp. Can anyone offer me any insights to planning the adventure of my dreams? (still can’t believe DH went for this one!)

This is my 2nd yr in the club, but my first post. I love the yarn but was a little intimidated by the patterns and didn’t finish many socks last year. I even took a sock class before the first shipment. I am determined to keep up this year. Have been reading about doing the socks on 2 circular needles, I’m not fond of dp. Has anyone done this? I was told that it is easy and the socks work up faster. Thanks, I enjoy reading everyone’s coments. Nice to be part of a group that is obsessed with fiber! Patty in Denver
