Another intro

Notorious Sock Knitters | January 26, 2008
By Amber

Hi everybody!  I’m Amber, live in Northern Virginia (right outside of DC), knitting obsessed, single lawyer mom to the coolest kid ever.  It’s great to be here and I’m SO EXCITED about the kit that came today.  Now have to go clean the house to justify knitting time.  :)By the way - awesome job on the binder, ladies.  Very cool.We should definitely do a NOVA/DC/MD BMFA RSC meet-up.  (Really, I just wanted to see how many acronyms I could get in one sentence.)   That would be fun!

Vancouver WA Meetup for RSC?

Notorious Sock Knitters | January 26, 2008
By Eileen

Is there anybody from the VanWA area that might be interested in an occasional meetup to work on their socks?  If so, any thoughts on where you might like to meet?  Pub, restaurant, coffee shop?  Times?  Let me know and I’ll try and coordinate something.

Coupon

Notorious Sock Knitters | January 25, 2008
By Pamelyn Woo

Not to post any spoilers, i’ll only ask about our 10% coupon. Not because I really want to drop more money at the bluemoon website immediately (although more raven series must be mine in the future i think i spent mine too early last year before silkie was introduced–hopefully more restraint this year), I was wondering if anyone got the coupon in their package or not?  Last year it arrived tucked between the pages of the binder of the first shipment but i doubly checked and it’s not anywhere to be found.  Does it look different?  Is it typed into code in the pattern?  Will I have to wind the hank to find it?  Is it just mine or everyones?

Thanks
