Pastel or not. Want to weigh in on this?

I have gotten so many bizarre responses to whether of not this was a pastel.

This inquiring mind wants to know. What is your opinion on the pastelishness of this colorway.

I say, based on the definiton of a pastel, that yes, it most certainly is just that, a PASTEL.

So in the comments please put;

Pastel-if you think it is.

Not pastel -if you think it is not.

thanks!

p.s. I am working on the results of the survey. So you will see them soon.

Gumdrop Socks: Yarn usage for size large

July Kit Questions | August 05, 2008
By Vicki Lewis

If you have knit the large size, how much of the yarn did you use? I was thinking about knitting the large and having the pattern stretch around the whole sock like for the other sizes but I’m afraid I won’t have enough yarn. Is there any other reason this wouldn’t work?

 Thanks!

August, already!

Notorious Sock Knitters | August 02, 2008
By Meg

I can’t believe that it’s August already! Three quarters of the way through the year, and just one month and a half from the Autumnal equinox. We all know what Fall means; that we can wear the lovely socks that we have been knitting. While I am working feverishly on socks for my sweet and gentle husband, keep eyeing the sweet colors of the July. It calls me away from the manly greys and blacks of the socks that I need to finish by 8/10…… on 00 needles, and I haven’t even turned the heel. (What was I thinking?)….Well anyway……Goody, Goody is gorgeous! Thank you.

Sweet Tart Designer

As most of you know, I am commonly known as “Hot Flash” and enjoy being a Socketeer for BMFA.  My design started out as a sock for my Granddaughter, Emma. I started with the picot edge from the Cedar Creek Sock and then added eyelets,  And so it went…….After completing the socks I decided it would work for for me as well. This pattern is light, bouncey and a great sock.  After completing the futzy picot edge you will it to be an easy pattern.  ENJOY!
